Efficency of Parallel Computing Through Matrix Multiplication Utilizing C and C# Programming Languages

Parallel computing is defined as the simultaneous carrying out of large-scale calculations by using multiple computing units (cores/workers). The method for including these is known as threading.


GOALS:
a. Gain an understanding of parallel computing and the parallel algorithms needed for large-scale computing in a shared memory system
b. Gain an understanding of the power behind multi-core processors
c. Gain an understanding of the standard performance measurement methods used in parallel computing
